Who will take care of my pet?

A certified Host will take care of your pet and Host a Pet will always be available and wanting for your pet to be enjoying its service.

How do I make a reservation?

It's very easy! Sign in to your Host a Pet account and click on "Search" to find Hosts near you that have the features your pet needs. Send a reservation request and a message if you want to know more about it. If you need help from the Host a Pet team, dial 514-416-8427 option 2.

If I already registered, how do I log into my account?

Click on "Login" and enter the email and password you entered at the time of your registration.

How do I register?

Download the app or go to www.hostapet.com. If you want a service for your pet, click on "Reserve service". If you want to be a Host: Click on "I want to be a Host".

What to do if I find a lost pet?

Send us all the information you have of the pet you found (species, sex, age, race, behavior and location) as well as images of it to support@hostapet.com and we will help you spread it with our network of contacts so that together we can find the owner or a new home.

How do I book my first service?

Very easy! If you want to book a service: Register in "Reserve Service", register your pet and based on your location, prices and Host profile, select your favorite and send a request. You will receive photos and messages of your pet's adventures. If you need help from the Host a Pet team, dial 514-416-8427 option 2.

What pets do we receive?

At the moment dogs and cats of all breeds, but soon we will accept other types of pets.

What services does Host a Pet offer?

HAP platform offers: Boarding (24h stay while you travel) Daycare (12h care while you work), Walks (occasional or recurrent), Training (positive behavioural training), Transportation (round trip or one way) Bath (professional or home-made).

What is Host a Pet?

HAP Canada was created from need to have alternative trustworthy and professional options to traditional caged kennels for their pets, when busy, at work, or on vacation. In this era, domestic pets have become an essential part of the family, and their well-being becomes one of the family’s top priorities. Leaving the pets alone at home, or locked in a cage when busy, travelling or at work is not an option anymore. Traditional options offered to pet owners include pensions that use cages and are also quite expensive, and lodging them with friends or family, that are not always available and is often inconvenient.
